FINDING YOUR FACE SHAPE
There’s a simple and quick way of deducting the shape of your face.
You’ll need a small mirror without a magnifying glass and eyeliner or pencil. Tie your hair back so that your face shape is more distinguished. Place the mirror at eye level and sit comfortably. Your face should take up most of the reflective surface but not all of it. 🪞
Try keeping your head as still as possible and outline the edges of your face until you have traced all around your face. Then find the center point between your eyes and mark it with a small dot on the mirror. Mark a small dot where the peak of your nose is. And finally, mark a dot where the peak of your chin is.
The next step is to find your. Find where your jawbone sits on each side of the face outline and mark two dots there.
Once you’ve found all of the pointers mentioned above and marked them on the mirror you can pull your face away and look at the shape you have made on the mirror. What does it resemble the most: oval, elongated oval, square, triangle, inverted triangle, diamond, heart, circle, or rectangle?🟡💜🟧
Knowing your face shape will help you determine how best to compliment your face with the right makeup, hairstyle, clothes, glasses, and even jewelry. 👑
If you have wavy or curly hair, going too short may add more width to the cheeks. A hairstyle with longer layers will make the face and neck appear more slender. Better to avoid harsh angular styles, thick bangs, and tight curls, as that will shorten the appearance of your face.
The longer your hair is, the longer it will make your face look. Try shorter styles with plenty of volume or bangs. Waves and curls will always be a great choice.
With this shape, nearly every hairstyle will flatter your face. From short to long hair, from pixies to shags. Choose a hairstyle that’s best for your personality or lifestyle.
Curls or choppy ends are something that adds texture to your hair and should be your best look. You can try side-swept bangs and layering your hair.
This face shape tends to have a bone structure that is neither too soft nor too hard. Many hairstyles will look naturally romantic with this shape. If you feel like your forehead is too wide, you can conceal it with bangs or long layers.
